• Stan is a data analytics platform developed by STB, which you can access via the Internet. 
• Stan allows you to view visualisations and perform analysis on tourism-related data to derive actionable insights.

• We welcome all stakeholders to use Stan.
• You may access publicly available Tourism Statistics on Stan portal. Tourism stakeholders may also create a Stan account to access additional features.

• The following tourism data is publicly available in Stan now via Tourism Statistics:
  • Monthly Visitor Arrivals (via the Visitor Arrivals visualisations dashboard)
  • Monthly Hotel Statistics (via the  Hotel Performance visualisations dashboard)
  • Annual Tourism Receipts
  • Annual Cruise Statistics 
• You may view visualisations or download data for the above tourism statistics.
• Tourism stakeholders can access industry-specific features (e.g. data submission) with a registered Stan account.

• New features will be added to Stan progressively. Read more about these features in About Stan.
• If you wish to be updated about new features and upcoming events, let us know how to reach you at our Interest Indication form.
• If you are interested to collaborate in a data project or enter a data partnership with STB, please contact us.

• Presently, Stan is free to use by the public and tourism stakeholders.

• No plug-ins are required except for Internet Explorer users who will require the Adobe PDF plug-in to view PDF files such as the Stan User Guides.

• Stan is a data analytics platform focusing on tourism-related data in Singapore. 
• With Stan, you will be able to derive insights into the tourism landscape and you may leverage these insights to optimise your business decisions.

• You may provide STB-related feedback and enquiries by completing this feedback form. 
• For non-STB-related feedback and enquiries, please submit via REACH.

• You may view information that is publicly available on the Stan portal without login.
• To access industry-specific features, an account would be required and you may create an account by signing up for a Stan account.

• Overseas tourism stakeholders may be able to access Stan.
• If you are an overseas tourism stakeholder and would like to sign up for a Stan account, please leave us a feedback and we will respond to your request. 

• The Visitor Arrivals Forecast Dashboard allows selected users to view quarterly Visitor Arrivals forecast for 5 markets - Australia, China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as an overall Global forecast of Visitor Arrivals.

• The Business Events Analysis Dashboard provides Stan users an overview of the historical number of events and those in the pipeline, in Singapore. The events historical and pipeline events data are with reference to the last completed quarter, for all sheets. 

• You may refer to the Stan User Guides page to understand how to access and navigate around Stan, and the potential use cases of Stan.
• You may also refer to Stan Glossary for Visitor Arrivals and Hotel Performance to view the list of definitions of Stan's terminology.

• Please visit Tourism Statistics to access the public dashboards.
• If you are logged into Stan, please click on "Data Visualisation" to access the tourism-related dashboards.  

• Stan Accounts with the "Private Space" feature enabled will be able to upload your own data to create dashboards within Stan. This is currently available to only selected tourism stakeholders.

• Local and overseas tourism organisations selected by STB would be able to sign up for a Stan account.

• Tourism stakeholders may register for a Stan account by using your CorpPass on Stan portal. Existing TIH corporate users can also register for a Stan account using your current TIH account (CorpPass or Portal ID) on Stan portal.
• For Organisations who already have account(s) created on Stan, you may also request your Organisation's Industry Admin to add you into your organisation's account. Thereafter, you should receive an email for the account activation.
• You may refer to the Stan Post-Login User Guide in Stan User Guides for more information on Stan account registration. 

• Stan account registration is open to selected tourism organisations. You may continue exploring our tourism data and visualisations public dashboards.
• If you are a Singapore tourism organisation and unable to sign up for Stan but would like to, please leave us a feedback and we will respond to your request. 

• Yes, you would have to register for an account as part of your organisation, to access your organisation's dashboard and  other Stan features.

• For local organisations, a CorpPass is required to sign up for a Stan account. The first two users of the organisation who sign up for the Stan account will be assigned the "Industry Admin" role, while subsequent users who sign up will default to the "Industry User" role. 
• For details on CorpPass, please visit www.corppass.gov.sg.
• For overseas organisations, CorpPass is not required to sign up for a Stan account. 

• Stan is for corporate users only. A Corppass account linked to your Singpass is required to log in to Stan.
  

• The TIH and Stan accounts will be linked if they are registered under the same local business Corppass account (e.g. both TIH and Stan accounts are registered as a local business Corppass account).
• However, do note that should your existing TIH account type be different from the Stan registration account type, you will not be able to register for a Stan account with the same email address used for TIH (e.g. Being registered as an individual account in TIH but registering via Corppass linked to Singpass in Stan).

• Yes, you will still need to register for a Stan account.
• Once successfully registered, the system will enable both accounts to be linked at the backend if the TIH account is a business account type (Corppass or Portal ID).  This will not work if TIH is an individual account type.

• There are various possible reasons for this issue. Do check on the specific error, type of account user and the ID used to register for the account. 
• If the issue persists, please contact us and we will respond to your issue. 

• Click on "Forgot Password?" via the Sign-In page and you will be guided on the next steps to reset your password.

• You may change your password upon logging in.
• Click on the "My Profile" page and click on "Change Password"

• You may click on "My Profile" upon logging to edit your profile.
• Please note that your email address cannot be changed after registration.

• On the bottom left-hand corner of each dashboard sheet, you can find the "Data Source", together with the statistics up to the specified time period of the visualisation. 

• You may view the Monthly Visitor Arrivals and Monthly Hotel Statistics in their respective visualisations dashboard and export the data for the excel spreadsheet view.
• You may export the data via the following steps: 
  • On the Visitor Arrivals or Hotel Performance dashboard, open the sheets by clicking on the "sheets" icon at the top right hand corner of the dashboard.
  • Click on the "Ad-hoc Report" sheet and you will be brought to the Ad-Hoc report.
  • You may select the fields that you would like to extract into an excel report and it will be presented in a table.
  • Right click on the table and click on the "Table" option followed by  the "Export" function. 
  • Select the file type (image/PDF/excel) you wish to export the data into. 
  • The data file can then be downloaded in your preferred file type. 

• Currently, the dashboard focuses on key places of residence among the visitors.

• Data Visualisations are ways to help you better interpret data. Stan's visualisations on tourism-related data, comes in the form of graphs, charts and figures which will help you better see trends, clusters and outliers in our visitor's behaviour and profile. For example, you could identify the majority age group of visitors from a certain country through our "Visitor Profile" visualisations on Stan.

• For more information on how to use Stan's visualisation tools, you may refer to the Stan User Guides page.
• The Stan User Guides will provide you information on how to access and navigate Stan, as well as how to use the visualisation tools. 

• You may refer to the Glossary Sheet, for the list of terms used in each dashboard and their respective definitions.
• Understanding the terms and the type of data used in the visualisations will aid your interpretation of the data.

• Yes, you may download the data from Stan with the following steps:
• Move your cursor over the Visualisation that you wish to export and right click to select the applicable chart type, followed by the "Export" option. 
• After selecting the "Export" option, you can choose the file type (image/PDF/excel) you wish to export the data into. 
• The data file can then be downloaded in your preferred file type. 
• For more information on navigating Stan, you may refer to the Stan User Guides page.

• The "Insights" feature is currently unavailable for this release of Stan. 
• More features will be added to Stan progressively. 
• Read more about these features in About Stan and submit your interest indication should you wish to be updated about new features and upcoming events.

• Registered Stan users who contribute data to Stan (e.g. monthly Hotel Performance Data Submission), or participate in selected STB's data capability upskilling initiatives - such as Data Transformation Programme (DTP) and Data Analytics SHift (DASH) Programme, will be granted access to Visitor Arrivals Forecast Dashboard.

• After logging into Stan, you may access the 'Visitor Arrivals' dashboard either by:

1. Selecting 'Visitor Arrivals' under the 'Data Visualisation' section of the 'My Dashboard' page; or

2. Selecting 'Visitor Arrivals' under the 'Data Visualisation' dropdown menu.

• After accessing the 'Visitor Arrivals' dashboard, under 'Public sheets', select the 'Visitor Arrivals Forecast' sheet to view the visitor arrivals forecasts.

• Public users may access the Event Analysis Overall and the Glossary sheets on the Business Events Analysis Dashboard. You may view key information on the Overall Event Analysis for historical events with respect to Event Type and Cluster.
• Registered Stan users may log in to Stan to access the Business Events Analysis Dashboard, which contains additional sheets such as Event Analysis by Event Type and Event Cluster.

• Public users may click on the Tourism Statistics tab on Stan Public Portal. The Business Events Analysis Dashboard may be found under Quarterly Statistics. 
• Registered Stan users may log in to Stan to access the Business Events Analysis Dashboard through the following ways:

1. Selecting 'Business Event' under the 'Data Visualisation' section of the 'My Dashboard' page; or

2. Selecting 'Business Event' under the 'Data Visualisation' dropdown menu.

• STB has put in place the Data Trust Charter to support data sharing between STB and our industry stakeholders in the private sector.
• STB will take reasonable measures to ensure that the privacy of individuals will not be compromised through sharing data with us.

• The Data Trust Charter was drawn up in 2018 to support data sharing between STB and our industry stakeholders in the private sector. It represents our public commitment to secure and responsible data sharing and usage of the data shared with us by industry stakeholders joining us for the Singapore Tourism Analytics Network (“Stan”) and the Tourism Information Hub (“TIH”) as our data partners, and the protection of the privacy of personal data in that data sharing and usage.
• The Charter details the principles that STB holds in high regard to ensure that the data sharing environment between STB and Data Partners, and between Data Partners, is safe and beneficial for all parties involved. These principles are: maintaining impartiality, achieving common tourism outcomes, ensuring data confidentiality, commitment to data protection, and adhering to personal data privacy.

• Stan Data Marketplace is a platform for registered Stan users to share and consume Singapore tourism-related data, ranging across categories such as Accommodation, Malls and Shops, and Food & Beverages.
• You may join our tourism data community by contributing your organisation's data to gain access to privilege datasets on Stan Data Marketplace to supplement your own data analysis.

• Stan Data Marketplace may be accessed by all registered Stan users. 
• STB Data Partners and Data Contributors will be granted additional access to 'Privilege' data.

• Stan Sandbox is a co-creation space equipped with predictive tools for data collaboration amongst STB Data Partners and other Tourism industry stakeholders. It allows users to create, refine and run advanced data analytics models.

• Stan Model as a Service is strictly for your organisation's internal use only, and API keys should not be shared outside of the organisation. You may refer to the Terms of Use for more information. 

• Please note that the classification of the data obtained from Stan Model as a Service is Confidential. Therefore, the output from the model as a service is strictly for your organisation's internal use only. You may refer to the Terms of Use for more information.

• The site is best viewed using the latest versions of Chrome, Safari or Firefox, you may try using these browsers.
• Some objects may be hidden or distorted due to the zoom settings of your browser. You can adjust the zoom settings to optimise your viewing experience.
• Alternatively, if you require additional technical assistance, you may contact us.

• For a better viewing experience, we recommend you to view the visualisations on a computer.

• You may click on the "Refresh" button within the error prompt message to refresh the visualisation page.
